  • That’s it. The YouTube video will be streamed via your MX Player app. You can just update the player settings to set the video on repeat. You can also choose to play it in the background.

I don't know what some are talking about in their reviews, but v.1.8.7 is on my Win7 machines, free if you reinstall every few months, no nags, and .mkv plays great on VLC Player. Rips a 6g disk in ~30mins. Output quality is superb.
Most of the time it does what it's supposed to.

Copies most everything well and quickly

Regularly updated and maintained, solid functionality.

Cons

MakeMKV for Mac's lack of features and complex interface make it a viable option only for a limited number of experienced users.
